NCHMCT JEE 2025 Exam Pattern :
NCHM JEE examination pattern consists of specifics such as NCHM JEE passing marks, maximum marks, section-wise weightage, marking scheme, and duration of the examination. Aspirants can go through the NCHM JEE exam pattern for the examination as released by NTA.
- There are a total of five sections to be attempted in the total duration of 180 minutes.
- NCHM JEE question paper will be in English and Hindi only.
- The question paper will comprise 200 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ) of different topics.
- For each correct response, the candidate will be rewarded 04 (four) marks and for each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the NCHM JEE total marks.

- Numerical Ability and Analytical aptitude
Numerical aptitude tests evaluate how well a person works with numbers. This may include interpreting graphs and tables or using math and algebra to solve calculations. In this section, questions will be from simplification, number series, arithmetic questions, algebra, etc
- Reasoning and Logical Deduction
Logical Deduction is reasoning which constructs or evaluates deductive arguments. Deductive arguments are attempts to show that a conclusion necessarily follows from a set of premises or hypotheses. A deductive argument is valid if the conclusion does follow the premises, i.e., the conclusion must be true provided that the premises are true. In this section, sentence-based questions are generally asked.

- General Knowledge and current affairs
This section will consist of questions from static GK and Current Affairs. For General Knowledge Preparation, Lucent’s general knowledge is more than sufficient. For Current Affairs, reading the newspaper regularly is a must, and apart from that, you can also refer to the monthly news and events magazine or mobile applications.
- English Language
English is one of the easiest and scoring sections of the NCHM JEE exam. The most important topics in the verbal ability section are Synonyms and Antonyms, Sentence Rearrangement, Reading Comprehension, Correct usage of words and phrases, Sentence correction, Sentence completion, Verbal analogies, and Grammar. To improve your vocabulary and grammar, read the newspaper on a daily basis and practice questions from prior years’ question papers to score well.
- Aptitude for the Service Sector
It checks your holistic development and moral attitudes in the subject of hospitality. It also tests the candidate’s interpersonal skills.

NCHM JEE Marking Scheme 2025
As per the NCHM JEE Exam Pattern, each question will be carrying 4 marks in the question paper. There is a negative marking of 1 for each wrongly answered question. To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as the correct option.

NCHM JEE 2025: Medium of Question Paper
- The medium of the Question Paper shall be in English & Hindi only
- Option of medium of Question Paper should be carefully chosen by the Candidate while filling the NCHM application form online. The option once exercised cannot be changed.
- In case of any ambiguity in translation/construction of a question in the exam, its English version shall be treated as final and the decision of NTA shall be final in this regard.
NCHM JEE Eligibility
- Candidates should have passed Intermediate(10+2) from CBSE or any other recognized board with English as one of the core subjects.
- Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examinations can also appear in JEE 2025 on a provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling of NCHMCT JEE.
- Candidates should be below 25 years of age as of 1st August 2025, i.e. on the 1st day of August following the date of commencement of the examination i.e candidate should be born on or after July 01, 1997.
- The offer of admission is subject to verification of original certificates/documents at the time of admission. If any candidate is found ineligible at a later date even after admission to an Institute, his/her admission will stand cancelled.
- Those who successfully qualify for the NCHMCT JEE exam must provide a physical fitness certificate at the time of the admission process. The certificate will have to be provided by a registered medical practitioner.
